The authentic botanical lip stain handmade for Berber brides on their wedding day.

A stunning boudoir piece, this lusciously sensual lip color is composed of pomegranate bark and Coquelicots, the poppy-red flowers immortalized by Monet. The botanicals are crushed by mortar and pestle, water is added to make a paste, then the mix is sunbaked in small terra cotta pots. The mirrored compact is carved of native Thuya wood in Essaouira exclusively for La Bedouine.

Ingredients: Papaver rhoeas L (Coquelicots), Punica Granatum (pomegranate). Purified Water, C. Deodara (cedar root), Zea Mays (corn silk).

Use: Apply to lips with a well moistened fingertip or lip brush. One pot will last 3-4 months with daily use. Shades of red reflect personal skin tone. Layer on for a bold look or dab on for a subtle pout.
